5 Lap Heats on World Record Certified Race Course
Competition Racing Classes
1.5 Litre Stock (Letter: T)
4-cylinder racing on a budget.
1.0 Litre Mod. (Letter: Y)
2 or 4 cycle motors can be powered by pump gas or methanol and will top out at 105 MPH.
2.5 Litre Stock (Letter: S)
Ford 4 cylinder motors, boats in this class will top out near 100 MPH.
2.5 Litre Mod. (Letter: A)
BMW and Alfa Romeo motors running at over 125 MPH.
5 Litre (Letter: E)
Ford, Plymouth and Chevrolet motors, perform near 115 MPH and considered one of the most competitive classes among inboard racers.
National Mod. (Letter: NM)
Boats range from 4 cylinders to 350 cu. In. small block V8s. Speeds top out at nearly 140 MPH.
Grand National Hydroplane (Letter: GNH)
Top out near 150 MPH and thrill crowds with 70-foot rooster tails. These boats are powered by monster big block V8 motors.
